Projects for Master thesis:

The research group is interdisciplinary and is stimulated by several research areas such as:

- Design and synthesis of organic ligands and organometallic compounds

- Synthesis of (nano)structured hybrid materials

- Homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis (including green and energy chemistry)

  • for the production of green plastic (polymerization reactions with CO2)

  • for the oligomerization of olefins

  • for the synthesis of pharmaceuticals or fine chemicals (organic transformations)

  • for the hydrodeoxygenation of biomass and derivatives into aromatics and cycloalkanes

  • for the production of NH3 from N2

 

- Development of radiometal compounds for PET-imaging
